Our group meets every Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ela Township Community Center at 380 Surryse Rd., in Lake Zurich, IL. 60047 to knit, crochet, chat and have fun!

Our community of crafters has been meeting for over eight years. In that time we’ve made over 5,000 handmade hats, scarves, blankets, baby items and much more. These items have been donated to the LC Court House Kids’ Korner, local food pantries, the VA and domestic violence shelters.

Newcomers are always welcome. If you don’t know how to knit or crochet but would like to learn, we have plenty of friendly volunteers who can teach you. Join us and help contribute to area residents in need. You’ll be so glad you did!

Got extra yarn? We’d love for you to donate it to our charity projects!
