Ela Township has received notice of a proposal before the Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals seeking a conditional use permit to establish a Commercial Solar Energy System located at 25428 N. Fairfield Road Hawthorn Woods, IL.
The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals will host a public hearing on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at the Ela Area Public Library, located at 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich, Illinois. Click here to view the notice of the Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.
This property is located in unincorporated Lake County, but is surrounded by Hawthorn Woods and unincorporated neighborhoods. Residential dwellings located on the northern, southern, and western property lines in Hawthorn Woods will be impacted by the development.
