Lucy A. Prouty

Lucy lives in Lake Zurich with her husband Don and has proudly been an Ela Township resident for over 60 years. She has worked for the people of Ela Township for 27 years in the capacities of trustee, clerk and supervisor. She was elected Ela Township Clerk in April 2017 after serving three terms as Supervisor.

Lucy was voted “Public Servant of the Year” by the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce in 2005 and named “Supervisor of the Year” by the Illinois Township Association of Senior Citizen Services Committee (ITASCSC) in 2014. She has also served on the State Board of Supervisors and the Board of Directors for the Township Officials of Illinois, on the Board of Directors for the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce, and the panel for the Lake Zurich Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy program.
