Gloria M. Palmblad

Gloria and her husband Rich have been residents of Ela Township and Lake Zurich since 1980 and have one son. The couple previously owned SIGNscapes in Lake Zurich. Gloria has been quite active in her community over the years. She served as Lake Zurich Village Clerk from 1999 to 2009 and was appointed Ela Township Trustee in 2014. In April 2017, Gloria was elected Ela Township Supervisor and was recently re-elected in 2021. She is a member of all Township committees; Community Family Services, Community Center (Youth and Senior), Parks, and Highway.

Gloria has served on the Lake Zurich Baseball & Softball (LZBSA) Board since 1994 in a variety of capacities including Commissioner from 1999 to 2001. She has been administrative secretary since 2001. Gloria was recognized as Honorary Lake Zurich Lions Club member for organization of Alpine Fest Parade from 1993-2005 and was awarded Outstanding Public Servant by the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce in 2006. She is a member of St. Francis de Sales Church in Lake Zurich.
