Laurie and her husband Jeff have lived in Lake Zurich for over 23 years. Laurie has a boutique marketing firm and works for a valuation firm, Cambridge Partners & Associates, Inc. in Palatine. She has been active as a member of the Lake Zurich Area and the Barrington Area Chambers of Commerce. Laurie worked for the Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce for 11 years, where she began her relationships with the community leaders in business and government. She was contracted with Ela Township to assist with their social media, email and website communications and learned about each department and how they served the community.

She is currently on the Lake County Board of Housing and Community Development and serving as president of Caring Women’s Connection, a local 501c3 volunteer organization that helps women and children in need in Lake County. Her previous experience includes:  Marketing and Communications Manager of Historic Downtown Long Grove, Volunteer/ Liaison with the Long Grove Economic Development Commission, board member of the Braemar Homeowners Association, and board member on the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Ela Township and Long Grove Historical Societies, Bachelor of Science, Communications, Northern Illinois University. She believes in serving her community and the people around her, learning each day and sharing her experience and connections to get things done.
